Deaf Action is a deaf-led charity that supports and celebrates deaf people. We were established in 1835 and work with deaf people across Scotland and the South of England.

Did you know that 1 in 5 people in the U.K. are affected by hearing loss? With this fundraiser and the help of Deaf Action, you will provide support to people who are deaf and have a loss of hearing by helping to participate in society and giving them equality of rights.

When you raise money for Deaf Action, you are supporting our vision of inclusive communities for deaf people.

-£50 funds a BSL counselling session for a struggling deaf person.

-£100 supports a young deaf person to prepare and empower the disabled.

-£500 could train 5 new befrienders to support deaf people.

-£1000 can support a family with 40 hours of British Sign Language tuition.

Our work is focused on empowering all deaf people to achieve their potential and fully participate in society, with equality of rights, access and opportunity.
