Danny Phillips is the son of district nurse, Jane Phillips MBE, who helped realise Dr Martin Lawrence's dream of creating a team of palliative nurses to enable people to spend their last days at home with their families.

Danny is taking on the infamous London Marathon in order to raise much need funds which will allow Lawrence Nurses continue their work in serving their community.

The team of 20 registered nurses looks after anyone, aged 18 and over, who is in their last weeks of life. Patients are referred to us by GPs, community and specialist nurses, hospitals, hospices and, occasionally, family members. Every nurse is experienced in end of life care, able to treat symptoms and administer medication.
