NAYC believe that all young people, irrespective of their economic situation, education, ability, disability or disadvantage should have the opportunity to experience life in all its fullness.
Through youthwork, residential adventure, and leadership development, we help young people discover their potential and step into it. Over the years, we’ve been at the forefront of many initiatives that support and invest in youth.
Youthwork We support over 200 youth groups across Northamptonshire—helping new clubs get started, training and resourcing youth leaders, and creating spaces where young people can discover their potential.
Our Centres
Pioneer Centre Outdoor Activity Centre located next to the picturesque Wyre Forest in Shropshire, features 25+ activity sessions (including zipwire, archery, and indoor caving).
Whitemoor Lakes Outdoor Activity Centre set in a lake front location in Staffordshire, features 30+ activity sessions (including kayaking, canoeing, and abseiling).
King’s Park Conference Centre a dedicated space where leaders come together to learn, reflect, and be equipped – offers conference facilities.
King’s Park Sports an active hub in the Northampton community offers high-quality sports facilities to local people, schools, and groups, as well as hosting national sporting events.
Bursary Funding Many disadvantaged young people are unable to fund their own trips to our residential activity centres or pay for a fun activity session with their local youth group. Our Bursary Fund ensures no disadvantaged child is left behind.
Gap Year Programme A free 12-month outdoor instructor training programme open to young people 18yrs+. Gaining professional qualifications, build confidence & leadership skills and develop young people to their full potential.
By supporting our work you are changing young people's lives for the better! Thank-you.
