Okehampton Community Recreation Association – OCRA

OCRA IS A CHARITY THAT AIMS TO MAINTAIN & DEVELOP AFFOORDABLE SPORTING / RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES & FACILITIES FOR OKEHAMPTON & THE LARGE SURROUNDING AREA.

Your support will raise vital funds for the charity as it looks to support the community with weekly sessions, holiday activities, free activity at community events and the resurfacing of the All Weather Pitch.

OCRA has delivers a hub model to achieve their aims;

• Delivering a diverse programme of activity
• Taking sport and activity sessions to satellite towns and villages
• Holiday Schemes that incorporate sport, art, outdoor pursuits, play, dance and fun
• Deliver the School Sports role for Primary Schools -developing activity for all
• Supporting and promoting local clubs
• Delivering Sport, Activity, Health and Community Development projects
• Developing facilities
• Bringing funding to the area for activity schemes and facilities
• Signposting  people to activity
• Running and supporting local events
• Networking with agencies to ensure the area and activity is represented and supported.
