My Story

About me

🏃‍♂️ TCS London Marathon 2026... I’m in! 😁
And even better — I’ll be running for an incredible cause. 💗
You might be wondering why I’ve decided to take on 26.2 miles through London... Honestly, I’m not entirely sure myself! But after years of cheering on friends, colleagues, and family who’ve taken on the challenge, it finally feels like it’s my turn.
I’ve always admired everyone who’s crossed that finish line, and I’ve definitely had an itch to give it a go. So when the opportunity came up to run the London Marathon on behalf of a charity so close to my heart, how could I possibly say no? 🤷‍♂️
This year, I’m incredibly proud to be running in support of the Dancing Eye Syndrome Support Trust — a charity that means a lot to both me and my wife, Chloe.
Dancing Eye Syndrome is an extremely rare neurological condition, affecting just 1 in 5,000,000 children worldwide. Chloe’s goddaughter, Bethany, was diagnosed with it as a baby, and her life — and her family’s — has been deeply impacted ever since.
The Dancing Eye Syndrome Support Trust has been a lifeline to Beth and many others, providing:
 💜 Vital information and guidance
💜 A supportive community for affected families
💜 Retreats and annual gatherings that bring people together
It’s a small charity doing big things — and it relies entirely on donations to continue its incredible work.
If you’re able to support me and this amazing cause, every penny genuinely makes a difference. Your donation will help the Trust continue supporting families like Beth’s for years to come.

Thank you so much for any support you can give — whether that’s a donation, a share, or a cheer from the sidelines. Let’s do this! 💪🏽

About us

The London Marathon has become an annual, inspiring and colourful fixture in the world’s sporting calendar since the inaugural race on 29 March 1981: a celebration of fun, fundraising and fancy dress.

Over the years more than a million people have completed the 26.2-mile course – which runs from Blackheath to The Mall, with a spectacular finish in front of Buckingham Palace, showcasing the very best that the capital city has to offer.

What’s more, these participants have raised over a billion pounds for charity and there have been countless amazing tales of human achievement throughout the event’s history – living up to its aim of helping participants ‘to have fun, and provide some happiness and sense of achievement in a troubled world’.
