My Story
Why I’m Running the London Marathon
Never thought I’d run a marathon.
I’ve always been in the gym, not chasing 26.2 miles.
I’m doing this for a friend I lost to sickle cell in 2017.
Seeing that up close changes you. It’s more than an illness, it’s constant pain and a fight most people never see.
I’m running for him, and supporting Anthony Nolan — helping people get a real chance at life through stem cell donations and research.
First marathon. Never even done a 10k.
But this is bigger than comfort.
Every mile is for him.
Every bit of support matters.
