My Story

I’m incredibly proud (and slightly in disbelief) to finally be running the London Marathon this year in support of Shelter. After seven years of applying and facing rejection after rejection, getting a place has been a real journey in itself. One that’s tested my patience and determination before the training has even begun. Knowing how tough it’s been just to reach the start line makes this opportunity feel even more meaningful. I’m running to help Shelter continue their vital work supporting people facing homelessness and housing insecurity, and every donation genuinely makes a difference.
