My Story

You may think we are crazy... bear with us. We are embarking on a huge challenge by running from Springhill Hospice, Rochdale, all the way to London before taking on the London Marathon the very next morning. That's 240 miles over six days. Our route takes us from Rochdale through Buxton, Ashbourne, Hinckley, Old Stratford and Greenwich.

We’re doing this for Springhill Hospice which is incredibly close to our hearts which supports palliative end of life care.

We were aiming to raise £26,000 for Springhill Hospice, in memory of my dad, who passed away there in 2020 after living with Motor Neurone Disease. Having reached our target before we set off due to the generosity of our supporters, we have decided to increase our target to £40,000! The care and compassion the Hospice provided during the most difficult time for my family was extraordinary, and this challenge is our way of giving back to the place that supported us when we needed it most.

It costs over £4 million pounds every year to fund the Hospice and without continued support they wouldn't be able to continue providing this essential care. With this in mind any donations you can give would be greatly appreciated!
