What's the story?
LEICESTER BOYS ARE WE......
In 2026, my running journey continues with two massive events. I am raising funds for LEBC (Leicestershire Education Business Company), an amazing charity dedicated to opening doors for young people and helping them fulfill their potential. In a world that is ever difficult for young people to get enough opportunities to build a career.
Firstly, The 2026 London Marathon in April 2026: my first ever marathon and the one I've always dreamed of doing. Bucket list stuff!
Secondly, in May 2026, a 60km memorial run from Welwyn Garden City to Bedford in memory of my lovely mum who sadly passed away last year. This route traces where my Mum and Dad first met before making their home in Bedford.
As always, i'll be helping raise funds for this great cause via our podcast - The Big Strong Leicester Boys. Whilst the football might be diabolical this season, there are salts of the earth in this city and community doing incredible work such as LEBC.
Every penny raised will go toward LEBC’s vital work and any donation will be hugely appreciated. 💙💙💙
I'll be documenting the horrible 16 week training block as I attempt to be the first marathon finisher to be 97% spicy sausage. Say NO to energy gels and electrolytes and YES to pepperami's.
