I’m Running the 2026 London Marathon for Make-A-Wish UK! 🏃♀️✨

My Story
Well… here we are. It’s happening. In April 2026, I’ll be running the iconic TCS London Marathon in aid of the amazing Make-A-Wish® UK.
(Yes, you read that right. A full marathon. 26.2 miles. On purpose. What the actual hell 😱)
I’ve been quietly training away this past year with my brilliant friends at Barming B2R, and it turns out I actually enjoy running. So, if I can turn that enjoyment into something that helps bring hope and happiness to seriously ill children, then every mile will be worth it.
Over the next 7 months I’ll be clocking up miles everywhere from Cape Town to Las Vegas, Amsterdam to Singapore, but all roads (and runs!) lead back to London in April.
This will be without a doubt one of the biggest challenges I’ve ever taken on but if the past few years have taught me anything about life, it’s that I can do hard things.
So… if you fancy supporting me, I’d love your help. Whether you donate, share the page, train with me, give me kudos on Strava or cheer me on from the side-lines - it all counts.
Watch this space for upcoming fundraising events, a birthday quiz night and probably a few emotional outbursts along the way.
I’m holding tight to one very clear mental image: crossing that finish line and celebrating on a rooftop surrounded by you all with a glass of rosé in hand. 🍷✨
Now… anyone wanna go for a run? 🤣
Why Make-A-Wish UK?
Right now, more than 134,000 children in the UK are eligible for a wish because they’re living with the tough, daily reality of a critical illness. These children deserve the chance to dream beyond hospital visits and treatment plans.
Make-A-Wish UK grants life-changing wishes — moments of magic that bring families together, lift spirits, and turn tears into cheers. Whether it’s meeting their heroes, creating unforgettable memories, or just being a kid again for a day — these wishes can be a lifeline in the darkest times.
Help me support this incredible cause. Let’s create some magic together. 💫
