My Story
My Dad, Alex, and our whole family have benefitted from the compassionate and expert care provided by Marie Curie. Their guidance & hands on help (and cups of tea) enabled Dad to spend his final weeks at home, surrounded by those he loved. His death leaves a massive gap in our lives and Marie Curie's bereavement services continue to be there to support us as we navigate life without him.
However, every five minutes, someone dies without the end of life care they need.
Marie Curie wants to fix that, and so do I.
By being the official Charity of the Year for the 2026 TCS London Marathon, Marie Curie has a chance to give more people the best possible end of life care. And step, by step #TeamMarieCurie are doing this together.
My race is on, I'm running my first ever marathon to support the Marie Curie team, to reach that finish line.
Whatever the illness, Marie Curie is with you to the end.
