My Story

Every five minutes, someone dies without the end of life care they need.

Marie Curie wants to fix that, and so do I.

As a proud Marie Curie Nurse for the last ten years I have had the privilege of caring for many patient and their families. I have also been on the receiving end of their care as a family member which gave me a whole new appreciation of our fabulous and vital work 🌼


By being the official Charity of the Year for the 2026 TCS London Marathon, Marie Curie has a chance to give more people the best possible end of life care. And step, by step #TeamMarieCurie are doing this together.

My race is on. I am running to support the nurses, to reach that finish line.

Whatever the illness, Marie Curie is with you to the end.
