My Story
This April I will be taking on the London Marathon in aid of Age Scotland as part of Team SKY.
Age Scotland does incredible work supporting older people in Scotland, helping them live healthier, happier lives.
They provide a free helpline and information service, support older people’s groups, promote age and dementia friendly communities, host national forums, deliver workshops and wellbeing programmes, and campaign on behalf of older people
I am running to raise funds for Age Scotland, and on behalf of my mum Joan who is living with dementia in a specialised old folks home and my late Father in Law who sadly passed away in March having lived with Heart and Kidney disease. I would like to raise funds for Age Scotland to support people like my mother and father who have to live separate lives after so many happy years together.
I would be incredibly grateful for any support you can offer, whether that’s through a donation or simply spreading the word. Every bit helps in making a difference to the lives of older people across the country
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my page.
Every penny donated will help to keep my legs moving towards the finish line on the 26th of April and will go to support older people.
