My Story

In April 2026, I’ll be standing at the start line of the TCS London Marathon, something I never imagined I’d be brave enough, or strong enough, to do.

Running 26.2 miles isn’t just a race for me. It represents resilience, growth, and learning to keep showing up through life’s hardest seasons. As a mum and a runner, this journey has become deeply personal.

Cancer has touched my life in a way that changed me forever. I lost my dad to cancer and although I know my experience is not the same as what children and families facing childhood cancer go through, I understand the heartbreak, the fear, and the lasting impact it leaves behind.

 That’s why this cause means so much to me.

I’m running to raise vital funds for Children with Cancer UK, whose vision is a world where every child and young person survives cancer. Every mile I run is in honour of loved ones we’ve lost, and in hope for the children and families still fighting.
