Ange Everington - Blue Light Card Foundation Ambassador

My Story

I am beyond proud and slightly petrified to be running the London Marathon 2026 as part of the Blue Light Card Foundation team. Running as their Firefighter candidate, brand ambassador and only girl in the team!! Madness.

Blue Light Card Foundation exists to support the mental health and wellbeing of those working and volunteering in the UK’s emergency services, both now and into the future. Their work focuses on ensuring emergency responders have access to support when they need it most.

Every pound raised will help the Foundation invest in projects that provide vital mental health and wellbeing support for emergency responders. This includes funding for:

• Counselling and talking therapies
• Peer support programmes
• Specialist wellbeing initiatives tailored to the needs of emergency services personnel
• Research into the mental health and wellbeing challenges faced by emergency responders and how best to support them

Your support makes a direct difference by helping to ensure those who dedicate their lives to helping others get the support they need to look after their own wellbeing.

Thank you so much for your support and donations. Let's do this, for the blue light community!
