My Story
Those who know me will know that when I say I'm going to embark a challenge, no matter how crazy or impractical, I will.
After running Madrid Marathon in 2025, my first and with a stabbing pain behind my knee for 15km of it, someone asked me if I would run another marathon. Stupidly, I said 'yes' without hesitation.
And here I am, running it in the city I have adopted as home for the past decade. Thank you London, and Epsom Oddballs Running Club for shaping me into the runner I am today.
Just as important, it is an honour and absolute privilege to run for Hertfordshire Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre, whose services have done wonders for a friend who suffered Long Covid for years, and for many others. Hertfordshire MS Therapy Centre is a Letchworth-based charity that has been providing Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for nearly 40 years. It’s a complementary therapy that can help some people with a wide range of conditions including MS, cancer, Parkinson’s disease, ME, fibromyalgia, and soft tissue sports injuries.
Come join my cheer squad with any amount; big or small. The people of the Centre and I will appreciate muchly.
Jel :)
