My Story
I'm running the London Marathon 2026 with PSC, and I'd love your support.
In 2023, I was diagnosed with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC) and Ulcerative Colitis (UC). PSC is a rare, chronic, and progressive disease that damages the bile ducts of the liver. There’s no known cure or effective treatment, yet.
Coming to terms with this diagnosis has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever faced, not just for me, but for those I love. But it’s also reshaped my life, helping me show up with more courage, tenderness, and even gratitude than ever before.
Running has been my way through. A way to process things and look at the future with optimism and curiosity while chasing PBs and new distances.
Now, I'm taking on the London Marathon, something I’ve dreamt of for years, to raise funds for PSC Support, the only UK charity dedicated to helping people like me and driving critical research forward.
PSC affects just 80 in a million people in the UK. Because it's so rare, it doesn't attract much funding. But progress is being made, and your donation can help push it further.
I’ve set an ambitious fundraising target. Because we need bold action and because this cause means everything to me.
If you’d like to know more about my story, I write about life with PSC on my Substack.
Please donate if you can. It truly means the world.
Antonio
