Sadie and Ashley's 2026 London Marathon Challenge
Sadie and Ashley
My Story
We're going the distance in support of disabled people.
Hi, I'm Sadie. I began my journey working at the Hampshire based disability charity, Enham Trust, in November 2019 and it's an experience that's been both hard and rewarding.
Hard because it has brought to light the incredibly difficult challenges thousands of disabled people are faced with across the UK every year. Rewarding because I know I am one of the many people at Enham working hard to help make a meaningful difference for disabled people, supporting them to live, work and enjoy life their way. But there's always more that can be done.
Ash has been by my side every step of the way, and we finally tied the knot in June 2025. Through my working at Enham, Ash has too come to know the challenges disabled people face and now wants to play his part in doing something about it.
So, what other logical option is there than to commit to running the world's most iconic marathon together? That's right, we are taking on London's 26.2 mile stretch in April 2026! Not just for the fun (or not so fun) of it though - we're raising vital funds in aid of Enham Trust so that they can continue to make a lasting impact to the lives of thousands of disabled people every year.
Those of you who don't have a disability or know someone who does might be wondering 'how does this affect me?'.
Over 80% of disabled people in the UK were not born with a disability but acquired it later in life. The difference we help make today could very well help you, a family member or loved one in the future.
We have seen firsthand just how much of a difference we can make if we all come together, so we're calling upon you for your support and encouragement.
Any help is greatly appreciated, whether you'd like to make a donation towards our fundraising efforts or help promote our challenge to friends and family that might like to support. No matter how great or small a gesture, your support will have an impact.
We're incredibly proud to be running as part of Team Enham at the upcoming London Marathon and hope to make our loved ones and, most importantly, the disabled people supported by Enham proud.
Thank you all so much and keep us in your prayers!
Ahhhhh! No turning back now... LET'S GO.
