My Story
About us
After discovering that my brother Alex had autism when he was only 4, my step mum Anna started researching for ways to nurture him and his specific needs. Through this she found the charity Support Dogs and Alex was paired with own Support Dog, Chester.
Support Dogs are a charity who provide assistance dogs who have been specially trained to support Autistic children, as well as many other disabilities. Providing highly trained dogs to guide children and families through day to day life as well any challenges they may encounter.
Over the last 10 years I have seen Chester support Alex and my family through Alex’s childhood and early teens. He has been instrumental to Alex’s development and we are so grateful to him and Support Dogs for all they’ve done for us over the years.
With this in mind, I wanted to do something to give back to Support Dogs - the challenge of the London Marathon seemed like the perfect way!
I will be doing all I can to fundraise as much as possible for this amazing cause, so another child can benefit from a Support Dog, just as my brother did!
Every donation will be greatly appreciated towards a charity so close to mine and my families hearts.
