Aubrey's marathon fundraiser

My Story
He's running...
You know the drill - mid-life crisis, cult of personality, permanently in lycra. That's right! I'm running the London Marathon.
I'll be sluggishly making my way 26.2 miles in aid of the Campaign Against Living Miserably.
I've been trying to do bits and bobs of campaigning and raising money for men's mental health for a decade now. At one point, I even did Dry January, which felt much harder than the idea of running a marathon.
I've used CALM's services at various points in my life to plug the gaps in support from publicly-funded mental health care. They do amazing work every day saving lives, which relies on donations from people like me and you.
There's still a lot of need out there. This past year, I lost two friends who took their own life. And it's disguistingly common - suicide is the biggest killer of men under 50. Too many people suffer in silence until it's too late. CALM offers live-saving services, runs national campaigns to lobby the government to tackle the mental health crisis, and fights for everyone to live better, happier lives.
Every person that dies by suicide is one too many, and the impact on friends, families and communities is devestating.
So give what you can, safe in the knowledge it's in aid of me putting myself through hell - getting blisters in places I didn't know you could get them.
