TCS London Marathon 2026 - For Julie
Bailey Farrant
My Story
Thank you so much for visiting my fundraising page, it truly means a lot.
I’ll be running in memory of Julie Farrant, a truly remarkable woman who was taken from us far too soon by pancreatic cancer.
Julie was a devoted wife to Sid, and a loving, inspiring mum to Amy, Lily, and Sam. She was the heart of her family warm, strong, and endlessly kind. Her presence filled every room, and her absence is felt deeply every single day.
Being told you have pancreatic cancer is devastating. It’s one of the deadliest common cancers, largely because it’s usually diagnosed too late. Shockingly, around half of those diagnosed die within just three months. Families like Julie’s are given very little time, time that means everything.
That’s why this matters so much.
Hope alone isn’t enough. We need earlier detection. Thanks to the incredible work of researchers at Pancreatic Cancer UK, a simple early-detection test is now within reach, but they need more funding to make it a reality.
By donating, supporting, or even just sharing this page, you’re helping to turn research into real change. You’re helping to give families more time, more options, and more hope when it’s needed most.
I’m incredibly proud to run in Julie’s memory, for her, for her family, and for everyone affected by this devastating disease.
