My Story

Hey everyone! I’m Beckie, and I’m running the London Marathon! 🏃‍♀️

I’m not just taking on this huge personal challenge—I’m also raising funds for Basingstoke Counselling Service (BCS), a charity very close to my heart.

Mental health matters deeply to me. I know firsthand how powerful and life-changing talking therapy can be, and how vital it is for people to have access to support when they need it.

BCS offers affordable counselling for individuals, couples, and businesses, as well as training and CPD workshops for professionals. Founded in 1985 by a small group of local therapists who wanted to support the community’s mental health, BCS has grown into a busy, vibrant counselling and training centre dedicated to improving emotional wellbeing across the area.

As a registered charity (number 1197373), BCS re-invest all their profits into improving the services we provide. Basingstoke Counselling Service receives no Government funding, and we are therefore sustained by client and training fees and other fundraising activities. 

Every donation—no matter how small—makes a real difference and helps BCS continue their amazing work.
