My Story

Cheers for stopping,

In April 2026 I’ll be running the LDN Marahthon for this wicked Charity, RFU Injured Players Foundation.

They support rugby players in England whose lives are changed by spinal cord to brain injuries sustained while playing the game. There support spans every level of rugby, from grassroots, could of made it, to professional. They helped me out back in May.

Whilst playing 7s in Kinsale, I got tackled by a massive fella and came out a lot worse.. I ended up with multiple fractured ribs, a haemothorax and a collapsed lung, which meant two weeks in Cork University Hospital and 3 litres of blood transfused with a receding hairline, wtf..  Now 60% Irish.. But all jokes aside, the charity were a massive support to me and my family at this challenging time and I am incredibly grateful for them.

Rugby talks a lot about community - I experienced that first hand. Now that I’m back on my feet, thought I’d run LDN marathon for the kudos and to raise a bit of awareness.

Any donations would be mega.

Big Love!
