My Story
Did you know that despite making up 15% of all breast cancers diagnosed, Lobular is under-studied and rarely recognised as a distinct and different disease?
In April 2026, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon to raise money and awareness for lobular breast cancer.
In 2018, my wife’s aunt, Emma, was diagnosed with what was believed to be a small, stage 1 tumour measuring just 1cm. But further scans and surgery revealed the true extent of her illness: an 11cm tumour with 8 lymph nodes involved, leading to a stage 3 diagnosis.
Thankfully, Emma is now in remission. She continues to turn her experience into something powerful as the Co-Chair Trustee of the charity, and we are incredibly proud to support her and the vital work being done.
I’m running to help fund better research, better awareness, and better outcomes for everyone affected by lobular breast cancer — because it’s not always a lump.
Lobular breast cancer doesn’t always show up as a lump, and raising awareness can truly save lives. Every donation, big or small, helps move research forward and supports people just like Emma.
Thanks so much for cheering me on and your support.
