My Story

I’m running the London Marathon in loving memory of my incredible mother-in-law, Mandy Kevan, who we heartbreakingly lost last month dueto ovarian cancer. Mandy faced this cruel disease with such courage and grace, and her strength inspired everyone who knew her. Losing her has left a hole in our family that can never be filled, and running this marathon is my way of honouring the amazing woman she was. I’m raising funds for Ovarian Cancer Action so that more women can be diagnosed earlier, treated better, and given the hope they deserve. Every donation, no matter the amount, means the world — thank you for supporting me and for helping me keep Mandy’s memory alive with every step I take.

 As the leading ovarian cancer research charity, we’re working to change that. By finding new and better ways to prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, we will ensure a future where no woman dies of ovarian cancer.

We live and breathe this lifesaving, world-leading research. We fund more ovarian cancer research than any other UK gynaecological cancer charity. It’s how we’ve driven some of the biggest breakthroughs of the last 19 years.

Our goal is to make sure that by 2032, half of the women live more than 10 years after diagnosis.
