Billy Clayton - London Marathon - EPT Fundraising
Billy Clayton
My Story
I am running the 2026 London marathon and fundraising for the Ectopic Pregnancy Trust (EPT) in honour of my partner Harriet, in celebration of our son and in loving memory of our four pregnancies that ended too soon. Two of these were ectopic pregnancies, life-threatening events that stole our hopes for a child and put Harriet's health at serious risk.
Ectopic pregnancies are a deeply emotional medical emergency, something we and many others have experienced firsthand. The Ectopic Pregnancy Trust was a source of information and support during these tough times.
I'm fundraising to help the EPT continue to provide their services, supporting women and their families and raising awareness.
Every donation, is extremely appreciated and a contribution to this incredible charity. Thank you. Billy
More information about the EPT:
Ectopic pregnancy is a common, occasionally life-threatening condition that affects around 1 in 80 pregnancies. Put very simply, it means an out-of-place pregnancy.
The EPT are the only charity that focuses on ectopic pregnancy to provide such extensive general information and peer support for anyone that has experienced the condition
There is a crucial need for The EPT. When someone has a suspected ectopic pregnancy or is diagnosed with the condition, they and their partners have many questions and worries. The charity provide those affected with somewhere to go, providing information and support. People gain comfort from being among others who had had a similar experience and many healthcare professionals signpost families to their services so that they can be there in the days, weeks, and even months ahead.
Thank you for supporting me with this challenge.
