Cardhelle Galapon
My Story
About me
I'm Cardhelle and I have been running for over a year and a half now. I've participated in a couple of half-marathons in the last 18 months and it's safe to say I've caught the bug! I started running because I wanted to change my lifestyle and become the best version of myself both physically and mentally.
I have been given an incredible opportunity to run the 2026 TCS London Marathon for Pseudomyxoma Survivor. I'm dedicating this run to people affected by this rare condition. Treatment for this condition involves major surgery and can be life-changing for some.
I'm also running the marathon in memory of a particular individual who lived with PMP and fought until the very end. I am honoured to have been involved in caring for this person as they have always remained so positive, even during the hardest times of their life. This person also gave me the chance to achieve a lifetime goal of running a full marathon. This one is for Angela!
