My Story
About us
I am running the London Marathon in 2026, to raise money for Unique. Unique is an amazing charity, who provide information, guidance and support for people living with rare chromosome and genetic disorders. I used to work for Unique in 2014-2015 and saw firsthand the work that they do. I'm now working in clinical genetics for the NHS in London and continue to appreciate the support they provide for our patients. They also help me do my job, by providing specialist information on hundreds of rare genetic conditions that I use in clinic all the time.
For people living with rare and very rare genetic conditions, their role is vital.
