My Story

Completing the London Marathon has been on the top of my bucket list for as long as I can remember. Watching some of my closest friends take on the London Marathon in recent years has been incredibly inspiring, so when I was offered a charity place with the PDSA last year, I knew it was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down.

Between 2024 and 2025, we sadly lost four of our beloved furry family members - Bella, Luna, Darcy and Kite-Kat — to a number of aggressive, incurable and completely unexpected illnesses. Losing them has been heartbreaking, and life hasn’t been the same since. They were so much more than pets; they were part of our family.

We were fortunate enough to be able to cover the unexpected veterinary costs and ensure they received the care and compassion they needed. Sadly, this isn’t the reality for millions of pet owners across the UK, who are faced with impossible choices when they can’t afford vital treatment for the animals they love.

The PDSA provides lifesaving care to thousands of pets every day through their Pet Hospitals, supporting owners who are unable to afford the full cost of essential veterinary treatment. Beyond treatment, they also work to prevent illness and educate communities and schools on pet wellbeing and responsible ownership.

Being offered the opportunity to run in the London Marathon for the PDSA is an honour and I'm glad I will play a small part in ensuring the PDSA can continue their vital work thanks to the generosity of my supporters.

More information about the PDSA and other ways you can support thier work can be found on their website:

I've already began my traning, having completed three half marathons between August - November 2025, and I plan to hit the ground running in January. I'll be keeping my fundraising page updated with all my training progress over the next few months!

I would be incredibly grateful if you could support my marathon journey and help the PDSA continue their amazing work. Any donation, no matter the size, truly makes a difference. Thank you for your support.
