My Story
I’m running the 2026 London Marathon!!
I’ll be running for the charity Anthony Nolan, in honour of my friend Rosie, who bravely went through two stem cell transplants.
Thanks to Anthony Nolan we were given more precious time with her — more memories, more laughter, and more years we’ll always treasure.
Anthony Nolan has been a charity I’ve supported ever since I first heard about it in 2014 and I’ve been on the stem cell register ever since. Over the years, I’ve taken part in various events for them — attending a quiz night that Rosie, my sister, and their friends organised (which raised an amazing amount and even led to an invite to the Scottish Parliament), to fundraising at university and holding a registration event encouraging people to join the stem cell register.
Anthony Nolan saves lives by connecting people with blood cancer to lifesaving stem cell donors. They also fund ground-breaking research that could transform the future for more patients and provide the best experience for every patient before, during and after transplant.
They gave us more time with Rosie by finding her a stem cell match, and that’s something we’ll never stop being grateful for.
Please support if you can by donating, sharing this post, or even joining the register
