My Story
This year I’m taking on the London Marathon — and every mile I train is for Neuro Therapy Network.
Neuro Therapy Network supports 45 independent therapy centres across the UK, helping people living with neurological conditions including Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Parkinson’s, stroke and dementia.
For many people living with MS, symptoms can be unpredictable and progressive. Mobility, balance, strength and energy can all be affected. Things most of us take for granted can become exhausting. The right therapy, specialist support and simply being around people who understand can make a massive difference.
That’s what these centres provide.
From the point of diagnosis, they’re there with:
· Specialist neurological physiotherapy
· Targeted exercise programmes
· Holistic therapies and wellbeing support
· Counselling
· A proper community for individuals and families
My training isn’t glamorous.
It’s early mornings before work.
Hill sessions that sting.
Long runs when my legs feel shot and motivation dips.
But that discomfort is temporary.
For someone living with MS or another neurological condition, the challenge doesn’t switch off at the end of a session. It’s daily.
When a run gets tough, I remind myself that I get to choose this. Many people don’t get that choice.
If you sponsor me, you’re not just backing a marathon.
You’re helping someone with MS stay mobile for longer.
You’re helping someone rebuild strength after a stroke.
You’re helping families find support after a life-changing diagnosis.
That’s why I’m doing it.
Thank you for backing me — it genuinely means a lot.
