My Story
I’m Running for Every Mate Who’s Ever Said “I’m Fine” When They Weren’t 💙
I’m running the London Marathon 2026 for Mates in Mind 💙
Having worked in the construction industry for nearly 19 years, I’ve seen firsthand how tough it can be — long hours, high pressure, and the old-school attitude of “just getting on with it.” Mental health often gets pushed aside, and too many people suffer in silence.
That’s why I’ve chosen to run the London Marathon 2026 in support of Mates in Mind, a UK charity doing incredible work to break the stigma around mental ill-health, especially in industries like construction, transport, manufacturing, farming, and more.
This cause is personal to me. My brother and many of my close friends also work in this industry, and I know just how vital it is to have support that actually understands what people are going through.
Mates in Mind helps employers create healthier, safer workplaces and ensures that people know it’s okay to speak up and seek help. They make a real difference — but they need our support to keep doing it.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help me reach my goal and help Mates in Mind reach even more people.
Thank you for supporting me and this amazing charity. Let’s do this together 💪
