Run Again 2 Weeks 2 Marathons 1 Mission

My Story
RunAgain
2 Marathons. 2 Weeks. 1 Mission. Is it possible? I am not sure! That’s the challenge!!
The Journey
Just over a year ago, I could barely run 200 metres. I was recovering from stage two bowel cancer, one of the hardest battles of my life.
Now, after 16 months of training, I’m preparing for something I never thought possible:
🏃 Manchester Marathon – 19 April 2026
🏃 London Marathon – 26 April 2026
Two marathons, just two weeks apart. That’s 52.4 miles in support of The Christie Charity.
This challenge is called RunAgain, because that’s exactly what I’m doing — running again after cancer, and proving the power of hope, resilience, and determination.

Why It Matters
When you support RunAgain, you’re not sponsoring medals or finish times. You’re backing the training, courage, and determination it takes to even attempt this challenge.
Like everyone facing cancer, I didn’t know what the outcome would be. I still don’t know if I can complete both marathons — but I will give everything I have. If that inspires donations for The Christie, then every mile will have been worth it.
About The Christie
The Christie is one of Europe’s leading cancer centres, treating over 60,000 patients a year.
