My Story

I can't quite believe I'm here writing this.

I AM RUNNING THE LONDON MARATHON 2026!

You are all probably thinking, why am I taking on the challenge of running the London Marathon 2026? 

The short answer is that the Samaritans changed my life.

I turned to them when I needed someone and I'm running to give back, to show others there is always hope and to raise money to help Samaritans be here, day and night, for anyone who's struggling to cope. 

I am now an active listening volunteer and hold the role of Deputy Director for outreach and fundraising for the Milton Keynes branch. It's safe to say that this charity is a huge part of my life and I am doing this not only to challenge myself, but to represent my branch on this incredible stage! 

Every step I take and pound we raise could help train more volunteers, answer more calls for help and, ultimately, save lives. I'm running to show millions of people that no matter what they're facing, a Samaritan will face it with them.
