🧡🤍🧚Fueled by Fairy Power!🧚🤍🧡

Every year I watch the London marathon and think what a wonderful event it would be to take part in, even though my body may not agree!  Next year, with my 50th celebrations coming up, I decided to go for it! It's a now or never type of situation! A no from the ballot meant my last chance would be a charity place. It absolutely had to be a charity linked to gorgeous Eleri Fairy. After messaging Bethan, she gave me two very worthy charities to consider, that gave more than anyone could ask for during the time of Eleri's illness. I applied to both and was 'lucky' enough, if that is the right word, to gain a place with Helen and Douglas House! This is where Eleri went when as much love and care as possible was needed, at the most difficult of times. To be part of Team HDH will certainly be an emotional ride for sure, but a challenge I'm willing to take on! Helen and Douglas house were there when our family needed them, so this will be a token of thanks back to them, to help continue to support some very special children and families. 
Helen & Douglas House has been caring for local terminally ill children and their families since 1982. They help children and their families at their hospice, at home and in hospital with respite stays, pain relief, symptom management, end-of-life care and bereavement support.
So here goes, an exciting year ahead! Let the training and fundraising begin!
