London Marathon for Marie Curie 🌼 🏃♀️
Clodagh Loughrey
My Story
I am privileged to be able to run this distance having had cancer in 2010. We all know someone whose passing has been made easier by Marie Curie's dedicated and compassionate care. Marie Curie is heavily reliant on public donations, which comprise about two-thirds of their funding. By being the official Charity of the Year for the 2026 London Marathon, they can be there for more people and their families at this very precious time of need.
I'm dedicating the 26.2 miles to Caroline, my beautiful Lagan Dragon pal who was the first person I visited in Marie Curie in Belfast, 10 years ago this month.
I am delighted to have surpassed my fundraising target. I very much appreciate the generosity of my donors, who will make the sore legs worthwhile.
