My Story
I'm taking part in the 2026 TCS London Marathon in support of the charity Parents And Children Together (PACT). I'm also running the Manchester Marathon too (stupid I know)!
On 19th April 2026 I will be taking part in the Manchester Marathon and then again on 26th April 2026, I'll be taking on the TCS London Marathon. I said last year would be my first and last but I'm back again! It turns out they are a little addictive afterall.
I was fortunate to secure ballot places for both marathons and so am using them as a way to raise money and awareness for the amazing charity PACT.
I’m running for PACT (Parents and Children Together), the charity that changed our lives by helping us become the proud parents of two wonderful daughters who we are incredibly proud of.
PACT are quite simply amazing! The work they do is truly remarkable. They are a charity that supports families across the UK through adoption services, and I will forever be grateful for their role in bringing our family together. In 2021, after a long and emotional journey, PACT matched us with two incredible daughters, making our dream to be parents a reality. Their guidance, care, and unwavering support has been second to none.
PACT works tirelessly to ensure children who have experienced trauma or loss find safe, loving, and permanent homes. But their work doesn’t stop at adoption. They offer vital post-adoption support, including therapy, education, and community resources for adoptive families. Their mission is to give children the love, stability, and opportunity they deserve, and I can’t think of a more worthy cause to run 26.2 miles twice for.
By supporting me, you’re helping PACT continue their life-changing work for families like ours. Every donation, big or small, will make a real difference in helping children find the security and happiness of a forever home.
This will be tough but I will give it my all. The thought of raising money for this cause will keep me going every step of the way.
