My Story
If you've found yourself here, you might be wondering why I had the courageous... or possibly stupid idea, of running The TCS London Marathon.
26.2 miles, yes a long long way to run, maybe walk, hobble a bit, or just get to the finish line. But there's a very heartfelt reason why. So here goes...
My big brother, Tom—affectionately known as Moose, was the life and soul of every party and a friend to all. With a heart full of kindness, he had a gift for making people feel seen, valued, and cared for. No matter who you were or where you came from, you could always count on him; his generosity of spirit touched lives across every walk of life. But with this, he also lived with Epilespy from the age of 10. You'd never know it unless you'd witnessed one of his seizures.
In July 2015, age 29, Moose went to bed and never woke up. Epilepsy stole him from us, stole his future and shattered the lives he left behind.
I am running for him, for them, and everybody who has been or is affected by Epilepsy.
Your donations mean the world, and I truly thank you in advance for your support and encouragement.
Love and light to you all,
Daisy
