2026 TCS London Marathon - Charity Place

My Story
It’s official, I am running the 2026 London Marathon for #TeamSamaritans!
In April 2026, I will be running 26.2 miles through the London landmarks, raising money for Samaritans in loving memory of my Uncle Mark and his beautiful partner Cole.
On December 18th 2022, we lost my Auntie, Cole Moore-Thornicroft, to suicide. Just a few weeks later on January 11th 2023, my Uncle, Mark Earl, followed his love and took his life also.
Since then, our worlds have changed - fighting my own mental battles for some time after. I am proud to be in a position to run the roads I once walked with my Uncle Mark, remembering him each step of the way.
I am now blessed to see both Mark & Cole in their beautiful baby girl, Aria-Rose, watching her grow into an intelligent little girl! Being able to watch all of their children grow into beautiful individuals is an absolute blessing I know they would both be so proud of.
Samaritans are an incredible charity, offering emotional support to those in distress in the UK, advising ways to cope and skills to be there for others. With the help of the work of Samaritans, there is hope to raise awareness for mental health and prevent future cases of suicide.
Running this marathon will definitely be a challenge for me, but one that I am very excited to take on and get training for!! It is a challenge that will prove no matter how difficult or uncomfortable a situation may be, there is light at the end - and a memory I can be proud of powering through. Once you put your mind to it, you really can achieve incredible things.
It’s an absolute honour to be given the opportunity to fundraise for Samaritans, I am aiming to raise as much money as possible to support their life-saving work. Each pound, each donation, and each share can contribute to training more volunteers, assisting more individuals in need of help, and ultimately, save lives.
