Dan's London Marathon Fundraiser

My Story
I’m running the London Marathon on Sunday 26th April 2026 for Prostate Cancer UK - a cause that’s very close to my family and me.
Why Prostate Cancer UK?
Both of my grandads had prostate cancer, we sadly lost one of them to the disease and my dad is currently living with a very early-stage diagnosis. Seeing first-hand how common this disease is, not only in my family but across the UK has made it impossible to ignore.
Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer in men in the UK and currently affects 1 in 8 men - that's someone's dad, brother, husband, partner or friend.
Having a family history significantly increases the risk, which is why early detection is so important. When caught early, prostate cancer is often very treatable, but too many men still don’t know their risk or don’t get checked in time.
By supporting me on this run, you’ll be helping Prostate Cancer UK fund vital research, improve early diagnosis (hopefully further modernise the detection method!) and ensure more men get the information and support they need before it’s too late.
Thank you so much for any donation, big or small. It really does make a difference.
Most importantly, please reach out to your dad, grandad, husband, partner, brother, and friends. Starting the conversation and spreading awareness could genuinely save lives.
