My Story

"I'm running the London Marathon in April 2026 for Tŷ Hafan, a charity that made a profound difference in my life during one of the darkest times imaginable. My twin son, Alfi Jay Morris, was born with a rare disorder called neonatal Marfan syndrome, and Tŷ Hafan's team continually providing us with love, care, and support when we need it the most.

Sadly, Alfi's story is all too familiar for many families in Wales. Tŷ Hafan is only available to support one in ten families in need, which is why I'm fundraising to help them reach more families and provide the vital support they deserve.

As I run the the streets of London, I'll be thinking of all the families who have been touched by Tŷ Hafan's work. I'll be thinking of the nurses who held my son's hand, the doctors who offered us hope, and the families who found comfort in Tŷ Hafan's care.
