My Story

I’m very pleased to be running the 2026 London Marathon to raise funds for West London Action for Children, a local charity that provides free, confidential counselling and family support to children and parents across the Hammersmith & Fulham and Kensington & Chelsea boroughs.

West London Action for Children work directly with children, young people and families at their centre and in local schools to help children manage anxiety, trauma, bereavement and behaviour challenges, support parents with practical and emotional parenting help, and run group programmes that build resilience so young people can thrive at home and at school.

Because their services are free, your donations to West London Action for Children means that a child gets timely therapy they otherwise couldn’t afford, a family stays together through a crisis, or a school can access specialist workshops that enable early intervention and potentially stop problems escalating.

The 2026 London Marathon will be my first attempt at running a marathon, and as the father of two children who are lucky enough to live in this part of London, I couldn't think of a better cause to be running in aid of - any donation (big or small) will be greatly appreciated by West London Action for Children!
