My Story

In April 2026, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon to raise money for the ICAS Foundation.

The ICAS Foundation supports academically talented young people from lower-income backgrounds who want to go to university to study accountancy or finance related degrees.

The Foundation helped me throughout my time at university — not just financially, but through the guidance of a mentor who encouraged me and helped me apply for an internship. Thanks to the Foundation, I was put in touch with Consilium, where I completed a 3-month internship in the summer of 2019. I returned the following year as a graduate, qualified as a CA in 2023, and still work with the firm today.  

The Foundations support helped shape my journey, and now I’m running to help them create those same opportunities for others.
