My Story
I’m officially running the London Marathon, something that’s been a dream of mine for years and still feels a little surreal to say out loud. This is one of the biggest personal challenges I’ve ever taken on, and it means even more because I’m running for InFocus, a charity that is incredibly close to my heart.
My sister, Sienna, is a student at InFocus, and the support she receives there has been completely life-changing for our family. Watching her grow into such a confident, independent young woman as she enters adulthood is something I can hardly put into words, and InFocus has played a huge role in her journey.
Being a sibling to someone with a visual impairment and complex needs comes with its own challenges, but knowing she is surrounded by people who genuinely care and empower her to thrive means everything to me.
Sienna is my world, and I want to give back to the organisation that has supported her and our family in such an incredible way. Running this marathon in her honour is my way of saying thank you, and of supporting InFocus so they can continue the amazing work they do.
