My Story
About me & why I'm running the London Marathon
I’m running the London Marathon for the Josh Hanson Trust, a charity that truly resonates with me. As someone who works closely with young people every day, I see the importance of giving them safe spaces, positive role models, and hope for their futures - values the Josh Hanson Trust embodies through its incredible work supporting young people affected by violent crime.
Running 🏃♀️ has become an important part of my life. I’ve never experienced the so-called runner’s high, but I love the feeling the moment a run is finished (feeling ‘runderful’), the sense of progress, strength, and calm it brings. It helps me switch off, stay disciplined, and reminds me what commitment and consistency can achieve.
I’ve run a few half marathons before, but this will be by far my biggest challenge - and I’m proud to take it on in support of such a powerful cause.
Please dig deep and give what you can to support this great cause 🙏 Let's do all we can to create change and, in doing so, leave a legacy of positivity, love and compassion in Josh’s name.
