DOMINIC CHAPMAN LONDON MARATHON 2026
Dom Chapman
My Story
London 2026
My name is Dominic Chapman. I run two pub/restaurants. The Jack in Binfield and The Crown, Burchetts Green. To relax and find inspiration I like to run.
I have run the London Marathon before. The experience is always brilliant and I am thrilled to now have the opportunity to do it again.
Get Kids Going is a brilliant charity and an organisation that I am very excited to try and help raise some money.
This is an exciting challenge and I need to work hard to finish the 26.2 miles required.
Your support is always appreciated and a great motivation to finish the marathon and raise some money for this wonderful cause.
Thank you for any support. I now looking forward to race day.
The London Marathon
The London Marathon has become an annual, inspiring and colourful fixture in the world’s sporting calendar since the inaugural race on 29 March 1981: a celebration of fun, fundraising and fancy dress.
Over the years more than a million people have completed the 26.2-mile course – which runs from Blackheath to The Mall, with a spectacular finish in front of Buckingham Palace, showcasing the very best that the capital city has to offer.
What’s more, these participants have raised over a billion pounds for charity and there have been countless amazing tales of human achievement throughout the event’s history – living up to its aim of helping participants ‘to have fun, and provide some happiness and sense of achievement in a troubled world’.
