My Story

In April 2026 I will be proudly representing the duchennes family support group, running the London marathon. This is a charity that become very close to me in the last year since taking a job as a carer for someone who sufferes with the condition and seeing what the family support group can do to help the families. From organising events and days out to advice, the dfsg creates a safe space and community for those with the condition and those around them. 

before this opportunity I have always pushed myself, with running, cycling, whatever would challenge me both mentally and physically, so this event has definitely been on my bucket list and to get the opportunity to support and raise money for a well worthy cause and challenge myself at the same time feels special
