My Story
I was offered a London Marathon place late after another runner unfortunately had to withdraw due to injury. With the race just around the corner on 26 April, I have decided to step in and take on the challenge.
I ran London last year and have completed somewhere between 20 and 30 marathons over the years, but it’s still an incredible event to be part of. Being able to run it again while raising money for a good cause made the decision an easy one.
In my day job I’m a doctor, and although I don’t work directly with children, I see every day how much difference the right equipment and resources can make to patient care.
Based in Manchester, MedEquip4Kids comprehensively improves the physical and mental health of Britain's children and young people by providing medical equipment, specialist mental health resources, and a schools mental health programme.
I’ve committed to raising as much as I can for the charity. If you’re able to contribute anything towards that target, it would be hugely appreciated — every donation will go directly towards helping children receive better support.
Thank you.
