My Story
I am Running the London Marathon 2026 for FLEET (Front Line Emergency Equipment Trust!)
I am SO excited (but also very nervous!) to finally have the opportunity to take part in the London Marathon, and feel so privileged to be doing so in support of a charity so close to my heart and home.
FLEET is a Cornwall based charity that raises money to provide life saving equipment for frontline Ambulances and first responders across Cornwall. It was founded in the 90’s by a Cornish Paramedic, and ever since, FLEET has worked tirelessly to upgrade the equipment carried on ambulances as well as provide equipment for other emergency services like first responders, motorbikes, and helicopters. They also run free community training sessions in CPR and defibrillator use, and provide specialist training for medical professionals to help improve trauma care.
As someone who works in the ambulance service, I see first hand how vital this support is. Knowing that FLEET’s work directly supports frontline teams here in Cornwall makes this challenge mean so much more to me.
Running the 26.2 miles will definitely push me to my limits, but every step will remind me why I am doing it. I feel incredibly privileged to be representing FLEET and to give something back to the service and community I am so proud to be part of.
Please donate whatever you can to support FLEET and help me reach my fundraising goal. Together, we can help keep Cornwall’s frontline emergency services equipped, trained, and ready to save lives.
Thank you so much for your support, it means the world to me.
See you on the other side!
