My Story

Running 26.2 Miles for Toynbee Hall

I'm taking part in the London Marathon this year as part of a charity initiative through my workplace, proudly supporting Toynbee Hall. This is a cause that is helping to provide vital support and opportunities to people facing financial hardship and social exclusion.

Running has always been something I genuinely enjoy, but taking on a challenge like the marathon gives that passion a deeper purpose. Every mile I run is not just a personal goal, but a step towards making a positive difference in the lives of others.

This year also marks 10 years of partnership with Cleary Gottlieb, whose pro bono lawyers have supported Toynbee Hall’s Free Legal Advice Centre. It’s a powerful example of professionals and communities working together for justice.

The money raised through this marathon will help Toynbee Hall continue all of its vital work – from frontline advice and community programmes to research and policy that tackles the root causes of inequality.

I've committed to raising £2,500, and with your support I’m determined to reach it.

What your donation could help support:

£10 could help someone access trusted advice at a moment of crisis

£25 could support community programmes that strengthen local networks

£50 could contribute towards specialist advice and advocacy

£100 could help fund work that challenges the systems driving poverty and inequality

Every donation – big or small – makes a difference.

If you’re able to give, thank you. If not, sharing this page means just as much.
